It costs millions of dollars to develop the new hulls with all of the molds and tooling required to produce them. There is no way they would dump that kind of money and resources into the brand to just shut it down.

they also seem to be one of the best value brands out there now

I love my Triton, but if I was buying new it wouldn't be a Triton, I like the boats but I don't want a 4 stroke Mercury. I would probably go with Caymas and a Yamaha SHO. Skeeter, Falcon and Basscat would be on my list as well.

The XP is better than Caymas. I’ve had two CX20’s. The others you mentioned are no better.

Like I said, I like the Triton boats, don't like how Mercury is the only engine option.

triton boat line is like every other boat line once it sales drop below a point it is not profitable it will go away like all the rest before some have tried to be brought back under another name but they they never have good sales numbers the guys that clamour for them to be built again are guys that remember they could buy a 20 foot boat for 40 k an that ship has sailed to never come back again.

Sure but why do that when you can get another brand already rigged with one for cheaper?

Has anyone seen the sale numbers. Are they selling? It seems they have hit a home run with the XP series.

Are the new Triton trailers as crappy as my old one has been and do they still use that awful Road Armor coating?

Thats not good. Unfortunately, I think the XP series is their last charge. Hows their numbers compared to Rangers and others?

I know Nitros are selling. They are everywhere

With rare exception, I don’t see how any dealer can keep a lot of stock, particularly at the current price levels.
I hope Triton hangs around and I really believe if they’d bring back the early TR hulls and set them up at reasonable price points, they could sell a lot of these.

Most of the population is too lazy to learn how to drive a TR hull.
