My favorite time is May (prespawn) to August (late summer) I’ve never done well on a swim jig past September

I personally have not had good luck early in the year untill the water gets around 58 degrees after that the rest of the year has a time and place. Have done way better a on lakes with weeds than the ones without.

    When the water is wet
Prespawn docks and summer time grass lines are a couple of my favorites though

    Swim jig...any time there's vegetation.
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments
