    Rebuild 2006 225 ho

    Is it worth rebuilding one? I'm having a hard time getting rid of it with a dead cylinder, which I knew would be a task.

    So question is, should I just rebuild it and keep fishing?

    Sure why not as long as you can get parts. And find the root cause of the failure.

    I put a reman Crowley Marine) powerhead on my 2000 225 Ficht per Champs suggestion and it is running just as strong as ever and the cost was well below any repowering options. Learned a lot about my engine in the process as well and that was 5 years ago this month.
