    Garmin 7610 compatible with LVS34??

So i was all fired up to buy a new Mega 360 and Helix 12 to add to the front of my boat and upgrade my Livescope to the 34 transducer last week. I currently have a 7610 and 8612 at the console and two 7610s at the bow. Just out of the blue I thought I should check and make sure the LVS34 would work with my units and it appears it wont. I see some people have said they are running them together but according to Garmin they arent meant to be compatible. So, do I buy one and try it, just order an 8610 for it, plug the livescope into my 8612 at the console and hdmi the screen to the 7610 at the front? I wont have enough money to still add the mega 360 if I have to buy another unit. I guess I am asking is anyone is running the 34 with a 7610 unit?

When i had the original Echomap Plus unit, the LVS34 was not compatible as a stand alone.....when i had the Echomap Plus, Ultra and LVS 34, then it would work.....so the point is it would work thru the network as long as there was a compatible unit in the mix. I would think that it be the same with the older 76xx units and newer 86xx units......

Hopefully someone will come by and verify what is mentioned.
