Willow Leaf Plain Brass, Polished Brass, or Polished Brass Lacquered

I have not used brass blades very much, but it is my understanding they will fish better in the fall. What is the difference between plain brass, polished brass, or polished brass lacquered? Will one style blade stay shiny, or provide a greater light reflection while another will not?

If you don’t get them lacquered they will tarnish and loose their flash.
