    When fishing in the DIRT

So how many of you guys cut off all your electronics when you’re flipping and fishing in really shallow water? I use to cut off everything. The last couple years I’ve gotten a little lazy and just leave them on and cant say that I’ve noticed a difference.

Off any day I’m flipping. Don’t do anything that shallow but make noise.

Put 'em in standby or turn off sonar.

360 stays on for bluegill beds and isolated structure, everything else is off.

I almost always put my console graph in standby when I'm fishing up front anyhow unless there's someone on the back deck, but I also turn the sonar off on mine when I'm up shallow and not using it. The Solix that's running 360 gets put into standby, and I have my bow Lowrance only showing mapping. I'm not sure if it matters, but I am quite sure it doesn't hurt anything. Better safe than sorry!
