Are we all thinking it’s another 30lb day or does the record fall today?

Man Hackney is one of my favorite anglers but I can’t listen to him bash guys in the top ten all morning for their chosen techniques.

How can you blame Hackney for being salty? He has fished the conditions, patterns and shoreline his entire career. Now with FFS, you don’t need any of that. Just drop the trolling motor and hunt down the fish that are aimlessly swimming in the middle.

I’m paraphrasing but that’s it in a nutshell.

Great question because it's happened all throughout the tournament.

He has only gotten more bitchy the last couple of years. Doesn’t like the way BASS is but when he did leave for MLF he didn’t speak kindly about it. He lost me as a fan a few years ago when he was making up names for guys that were not in a BASS elite tournament but we’re still out fishing.

Most of the final 10 have been fishing water 8 foot or less. Some even as shallow as 3-4 foot. Since Hackney is a shallow water expert, maybe he should turn around and put his back towards the bank.

Trey just boat flipped a 6-11 off a dock for his first fish. Awesome! Man I hope he wins. Him or Milliken with a Filthy Forty or a Nifty Fifty, LOL.

It's what they want everyone to belive. Anyone who has treid it knows it's not true.

Hanckey and others are salty their primary method of fishing no longer dominates. Kudos to the guys who continue to adapt with the sport.
