    #1 Bass Angler

Who’s your #1 current angler ? Doesn’t matter what tour or how they fish. Who’s the overall best in the game today?

Hard to not put Fujita on tbat list with his record in 10 Elite events.

Hands down at the moment has got to be Wheeler.

Frankly speaking, I see similar results if he were fishing in BASS. He in on another level at this point.

I too have Wheeler but the dude has a few nipping at his heels.

DC and Jujita are hot on his tail.

It would be hard to argue with Jacob Wheeler. He seems to have that 6th sense that only the great anglers possess along with great all-around skills.

I’m leaning more toward Fujita. Wheeler a very close 2nd.

I think the 5 fish opens up more variables and makes consistency a little bit harder. Not saying he wouldn’t be the best on the bass side, just saying the format makes it harder to dominate like he does with every fish counts.

Statistically Fujita might be hotter 6/10 top 10s. But thats a small sample size. The only right answer is Wheeler.

But when Fujita bombs, it is really bad. He did terrible at the Big O Open this year.

Wheeler has won an Elite event, 2nd in the 2019 Classic, FLW event,FLW All American, Forest Wood Cup, BPT AOY, BPT events. Still hard to beat KVD, Clunn and others from the Old Days.

I think Wheeler is Just as good as Clunn, Vandam or Roland Martin.

Wheeler hands down. He’s won at every level. Only thing he doesn’t have is a classic or red crest. And he will.
