    Dumb Question

Has anybody found a easily mountable (on side of windshield) mirror so you can see whether your poles are up or down? My neck does not rotate 180 deg like it did 50 years ago.

Has to be a bunch of options for the ski folks. I’d go to Amazon and search boat mirror

Yes, mounted one on my bass and river boats. I am not savvy enough with technology to post pics though but can send you a pic on a text if you like.

Is there a quick way of blanking out the screen w/o powering off?

I try to listen for mine, although it's hard sometimes. I'm still twisting around to look if I can't hear them.

Do they not have an alarm? I have a Talon and an alarm will sound if down and key turned on.

Used a small curved mirror from auto parts store.

below left graph, do you see it? Small aluminum bracket bent to the correct angle.

The only dumb question is one that is never asked.

Dumb question...if you deploy the poles how do you forget they're down? That said, I almost took off with the trolling motor down a couple weeks ago but realized what happened before getting soaked with 40* water.

It isn't dumb if it has happened before--my dad has a note on the dash of his bass boat to stow trolling motor and a note on his side mirror to raise outboard before putting it in drive. Ski rigs should have a mirror that works for what you need.

It's really easy to forget they are deployed. I've done it a few times.

Show me a question posted on BBC that is not a “first world problem”. For that matter, I’m going to say 99.9999999% of the problems any of us in the US or Canada have are “first world problems”.

Well when you have physical disabilities, the minor things are a big deal. You’ll get there one day.
