There are only two Down Imaging transducers recommended for that unit one is transom and the other is trolling motor--HW MDI 75. There are others that you can dumb down the unit and use.

Not sure what you want in a transducer but I just bought the same Helix unit and mine came with the standard transducer for that unit. It was a XNT 9 HW MDI 75 T.
Hummingbird says this transducer is a MDI Transom mount Transducer supporting Mega imaging/455khz and Dual Specturm Chirp 2D sonar. Also has a temp sensor.
