XM Radio

Has anybody put in a XM Radio in their boat?
looking for receiver and speaker recommendations.

I have a speaker and can play music through that but looking for more.

I have a 2015 Ranger 520 and I am looking to add it.

I don’t see a lot of spots for the receiver or speakers.

I had one on my last 520. I mounted it underside of the lid Driver side front locker. Mounted the antenna on the side of the console. Speakers under each console. Worked great. Now, they just want too much for the service !! I usually just listen to Pandora on my phone and my hearing aids are Blue Toothed to the phone !!

I have Xm on my cell phone. Take a portable blue tooth speaker. Sounds great

The XM radio I got a few years ago for my boat isn't made anymore but is similar to the Roady BT vehicle satellite radio. It is pretty small so I attached the mount for the cradle under the right side of the dash. I attached a piece of metal to the depth finder mount on the dash for the antenna. Since it has Bluetooth, I just use portable Bluetooth speakers. I got the high end plan so I get all of the music and sports. Two of the lakes I go to don't get good cell reception so streaming from my phone doesn't work on those lakes.

Didn't want to cut any holes in the boat so I just use the Sirius app on my phone and a portable Bose speaker.
