First year with VesselView, what should I be looking for?

    2017 Mercury 225HP Pro XS
    S/N: 2B398995

Installed VesselView this off season and wondering what numbers I should be seeing for the following:

    Coolant Temp
    Coolant PSI
    Oil Temp
    Oil PSI

Anything else I should be looking out for?
    Thanks

Your motor will not show oil temp, or oil pressure

Coolant temp and pressure varies with operating conditions

Thanks. Just sitting in my garage with the VV on I thought I got an oil temp reading but I’m assuming that’s just ambient temp or something?

As for the coolant temp and pressure, are there some parameters that I can watch out for to make sure everything is working as it should?

Watch for temp AT IDLE to achieve at least 120 degrees F before attempting to accelerate. On EVERY start.

    Water pressure minimums:

    1-3 psi at idle
15 psi @ WOT (prefer to see 18+ for safe measure in turns).

As Savage pointed out, oil temp and oil pressure are not available on your Optimax engine model.
