225 pro xs 4stroke on a 20 xd

Anyone running this combo ? thinking about trading my '07 250XS with 1:62 sporty.
Wondering what pitch prop and speeds folks ar gettin.
I can get a deal on 225 vs. 250, also a 250 will require a sporty LU

225 PXS should run decent, the V8 TM should be fine to 85-88 mph without issue, we have ran it faster but I dont recommend it due to safety concerns. The 250R would be my pick due to the sporty, especially since you are coming out of a 250xs sporty.

ive thought the same if anything was to happen to my 225 i got now.
optimax so heavy i was afraid new 4 stroke be even worse.
wish i could by a new promax......

Its about 30lbs heavier when you consider the weight of the 3L plus the 3 gallons of oil in the boat. Not enough weight to notice, especially if you switch to lithium.
