I think it means the shrimp fisherman had to ask the shrimp if it was OK to catch and kill them

Damn- I hope a food supply company is "clean"- that is kind of an FDA requirement and not something that is worthy of bragging about. We only buy wild caught shrimp and fish and hope that the package is not a lie.
