Not many accommodations up there. Best bet would be VRBO or AirBnB around lake clear

Vacation rental is a good option. if you are looking for a motel, Tupper Lake is about a 15-20 minute drive to the launch on Upper Saranac. Try Northwood Cabins. Nice and clean small cabins on RTE 3/30. Tupper Lake Motel also is boat friendly.
