Sure, for me the good outweighed the bad and I still wanted to grow old with her. I'm not convinced she was ever happy. The past 8 years have absolutely sucked (hence me having almost 20K posts) but that was because of external forces. If we'd had a solid marriage, maybe we could have drawn on that strength to face the other challenges.
