Nice to know that the coanglers inflatable works
LOL, ate one just like that last year on Ky lake... Kind of scary but you figure out real quick if all your bilge pumps work.
I’ve speared my share, but never where it filled floor flush like that…
Been there done that!

Based on how they're dressed I'm guessing that's not warm water either....

Yep, Done a few on Kentucky Lake through the years 😂
Ate a couple like that on St Clair crossing the lake. Not fun at all.
I stuffed one on Falcon like that. Wave hit my face with some force.

Buddy and I were at Rayburn a couple years ago and got caught in some nasty waves going back to the landing. Had an experience just like that. That was a first time for us and it scared the hell out of both of us I seen that video earlier on TikTok and sent it to him.
I speared one back in 79 and after that I said never again. So far so good.
GETFISHED !!!
Double decker barge wakes have gotten me occasionally. When the first and second wakes are close together with not much room to pass it is sketchy for me. Some folks do it better than I do.
I got one almost that bad on Sturgeon Bay running in at the end of the day, luckily I was only maybe 200 yards out from Pinney (Quarry launch) and had put everything away. We both lost our sunglasses but that was about it, had 5 or 6" in the cockpit.
I was the co-angler at a BASS pro-am fishing with a Texas pro on the Potomac in 1989. A powerful front came off the back of Hurricane Hugo and hit right as our flight was headed in for the weigh-in. We ate one when we had to turn to go into Mattawoman Creek. To me it was like it was in slow motion. The water came down the deck, down the step and into the floor, hit the base below the seats, shot up the rainsuit and back down the rainsuit and I found out the rainsuit did not do me any good as I was thoroughly drenched. It was September and I was a bit chilled at the weigh-in due to the hard wind and rain and noticed Clunn was walking around in his flip flops like it was just another day at the office, although he did have his rainsuit on.
