If it's a normal year weather wise, you will have post spawn conditions along with the mayfly hatch. Could be tough with fish backing out of the shallows.

Not what i wanted to hear but i guess we will deal with it. It was either Mullet for a week in July or Erie for a week July. We chose Mullet for the new scenery and hopefully little cooler weather

There’s some other lakes up that way that are much easier to find and catch fish.

Which ones you suggest. We will be in a cabin on Mullet for a week and don't care to trailer

If you don't want to trailer, you have Burt, Crooked and Pickeral available. Long ways away by boat with lots of no wake idle time. You have a small lock to get into Crooked and Pickeral. You could also lock into Lake Huron again with a long ride at idle speed. If you trailer there are Black, Douglas, Munro, Long and Paradise all within 45 minutes or less from Cheboygan.

Of the 5 you listed to trailer to which are your top 3. Looking mainly for bass but perch and walleye are fun too. Not sure ill have time to hit them all but if we get any windy days it might be a good place to save the day

    Black, Douglas, Paradise.

You could split the day and fish both Douglas and Paradise as they are relatively close to each other. Long lake is on the way to Black from Cheboygan so you could also split the day with those 2.

Douglas Lake bar is a great restaurant next to the launch. Pricey, but great food, especially their steaks.
