I'd really like to see what the boat would run without the 20 pound graph up on the nose.

Limbhanger51 is accurate, the Caracal with 300R we had at Dealer Meeting was pushing 90 with a light load.

Put three 3️⃣hours on it yeaterday. After the first 2.5 hours when i could open it up full throttle for 5 mins at a time hit 89 that was livewells full 40 gallons of fuel batteries ect no tackle. But was spinning a 25 fury on the rev limiter. The new STS like to run way higher in water then the old basscats. My last cougar would run best at 2 on jackplate gauge and just little trim. This one i was little over 4 on jackplate gauge and all the way trimmed up i could get. Next trip out going to run a 26 fury 3 blade. This new caracal with a 300r is a rocket

I have a Puma STS coming with a 300 Pro XS. It will be interesting to compare performance differences.

Sounds like it’s time to tweak the new Eyras.

Warranty on R series are the same, just more cost for extended and the product itself.

I heard there was a significant difference between the 300 Pro XS and the 300R. I ordered the 300 Pro XS because I was told it should hit 80 mph, which is the mark I wanted to hit. I am too old to try to go much faster than 80. I have also heard that people who ordered the racing version have been very happy with them. The boat I ordered was a Puma STS. I just wish it would get here. The wait for these boats is torture!

The 300R is pushing the 10% rule while the 300 Pro XS is not.

Seems like the Pro XS may be pushing the 10% rule in the opposite direction

From what I've been told, the XS is at about 307hp and the R is at 330hp. So with all things equal that means the R should be about 2 - 3mph faster.
