I had braunschweiger, cheese and mayo sandwiches a lot growing up. Never did the onion thing though. I still have them several times a year.

Love some liverwurst on jewish rye, Swiss Cheese, regular yellow French's mustard , don't care for the strong mustard.

Unfortunately, I have signed off on eating any kind of processed meat...excessive salt and saturated fat and preservatives. Not good stuff for an old fat guy who is fighting high blood pressure and clogged arteries.
