    I never throw bigger than 3/8oz and in open water, it works fine. I haven't thrown it in really heavy vegetation, but I wouldn't go over 3/8oz on it. I did throw a 1/2oz on it once and it felt overpowered for sure. But it is strange. Very light tip 10%, very strong lower 60%. The middle is where it gets odd. When you set the hook, it feels pretty stiff. But if you try to rip it free from any kind of vegetation, it does feel soft.
    I like it, and it's great for the mini max chatterbait.
