    2024 Yadkin Chain Gang schedule/rules

    2/18- Lake Tillery ,24/27 access
    3/10- Tuckertown Res ,flat creek access
    4/14- Badin Lake ,lakemont access whip-o-will
    5/5- High Rock Lake ,hwy8 southmont access
    6/9- Randleman Lake ,Adam’s road access, (15.00) ramp fee
    7/14- Lake Reese, 4850 Jackson creek rd access(9.50) ramp fee
    8/11- Tuckertown Res ,flat creek access
    9/8- Badin Lake ,circle drive access
    10/13- High Rock Lake, hwy8 southmont access
    11/10- Fish-off lake, HighRock will not be in the drawing

    * Rules Must Read
    1- All participants must be a member in good standing
    2- Team format Tx's 2 members per boat, fishing alone permitted
    3- All entry fees must be paid no later than 15 minutes prior to take off, unless you call ahead of time to inform us.
    4- PPD'S not required but encouraged
    5- Late for takeoff you must contact one of the officials prior to takeoff
    6- Three fish limit per boat 14 inches. Artificial lures only. a .4 pound penalty for EACH dead fish.
    7- You may launch at any landing you choose on the tournament lake, but you must be at the official ramp at blast off and weigh in times
    8- Late for for weigh in will result in DQ. tournament directors will have official time.
    9- Tournament hours will be posted no later than five days prior to tournament. time of year and weather will be considered prior to posting tournament hours. Normally fish 5 to 8 hours.
    10- Location of fishoff Lake will be drawn 3:00 on evening before tournament day.
    11- You must fish or pay for 4 of the 9 regular season tournaments to qualify for fish off. Any qualifying member may fish with another qualifying member.
    12- Lake drawn out for fish off lake will not be put in the mix the next year.
    13- The April tournament is on the first Sunday due to Easter and theMay tournament is on first Sunday due to mothers day.


    Entry fees and payouts


    1- 100% of all ENTRY FEES and membership FEES will be paid back.
    2- Annual $20.00 membership FEE to be paid back at fish off Tournament. There is no entry fee for fish off tournament.
    3-Regular season tournaments will have a $10.00 fee for each participant. If for some reason you can't fish a tournament and want to be counted you can prepay your entry fee.
    4- Optional big side pot $5.00 per boat. In case 0f tie pot will be spilt. $10.00 big fish side pot for fish off tournament.
    5-Payout schedule for regular season tournaments will be based on number of boats. 1-10 boats 1st place only. 11 or more 2 places. 1st place 70% 2nd place 30%. *6 There will be no REFUNDS of said FEES.

    why is the Feb tx not on the 2nd Sunday 2-11-24.... It is on your schedule for the 2-18-24 on Tillery???

    If it's a NC owned ramp you have to get a permit or I've heard it's a fine per boat. There are no blanket permits anymore, just letting you know. Would only need for Badin, Tuck, and Tillery it looks like.

    I moved it to see if everyone who usually complains about it being Super Bowl Sunday actually will make it out now.

    Yes, we’ve always got permits in the past. They made it a little more difficult this year. But as of now I’m waiting on the first 3 tourneys permits to show up. I can only put in for them 90 days before and I can’t get the blanket permit for the fishoff so I figure we will have 3 permits on the same day for us to fish the draw lake. Thanks nc wildlife make a simple process a pain in the butt now.
