Who does transom replacements?

Looking to have my transom rebuilt…Don’t mind driving within 10hrs or so from the KC area for the right price and good work….. any recommendations?? Thank you

Championship Marine did my 2000 Ranger DVX520 six years ago. Lifetime warranty. So far so good. I would check with Toledo Fiberglass. Had them put Gorilla Hull on same boat. They do transoms too. Good guys too.

I have a guy that did mine up here but it was a non-splashwell version and he said he wouldn't mess with a splashwell style. I would vote Toledo Fiberglass otherwise. I spoke with them several times before i found someone local. They seem like a 1st class shop.

What is the approximate cost for a transom rebuild at Championship Marine?

whatever you do or wherever you take it do not let them cut the back deck and remove just that piece to get at the transom the integrity of the whole stringer system needs to be inspected for rot , i am in the process of restoring a 92 201 now and all the wood is rotten , if you replace just the transom and have other structural problems the boat will never run correctly the longer they are the more they flex , and flex is bad
