Fuji SK2 reel seat and carbon tube, once you see the parts it's pretty self explanatory. Glue tube into seat parts, install everything on the rod like every other seat.

pretty sure that's a Matagi painted SKSS seat (might just be a regular Fuji SKSS) with an insert and some winding checks.

The butt looks like Matagi too based on the butt cap but I can't find it anywhere.

What are you looking for in a video? How to arbor the seat and/or determine how far apart?

this will explain starting around minute 21.

Skeleton seats aren't all that hard. I glue in the arbors ahead of time and then ream to fit. You're basically determining the spacing using a reel foot. There's a little more work with measuring for the winding check ID and tube insert (not necessary btw).

You could also skip the tube and use winding checks for the transition. I never thought skeleton seats were comfortable and I’m not sure if you can have great sensitivity if your grip isn’t comfortable/natural. Can’t beat that style for weight though.

I use the casting version of the Fuji SK2 reel seat most of the time.
Fingers are directly on the rod blank under the reel.

The spinning versions just aren't comfortable for me.
I usually build spinning rods with a one piece reel seat and no foregrip.
I can keep a finger or two directly on the rod blank in front of the reel seat that way.

ALWAYS REMEMBER... dry fit as many of the parts as you can.
I can't tell you how many times I almost forgot one of the winding checks between the two reel seat pieces!
I did forget one ONCE. Still kicking myself over that one.

I agree with the previous post. I never use an insert with a split reel seat.

    Good luck.

There are lots of ways to get your hand on the blank that are cheaper, faster, and IMO better than the Fuji SK2.

I've only built a handful of SK2's and I've always skipped the tube and used thread and epoxy ramps instead of winding checks. Agree with Spoonplugger though, don't care for them and there are better options.

Way better options. Especially for a spinning rod.
