I have never been to Lake Norfolk. Do any of you guys have recommendations for lodging where boat parking at the lodging site is fairly easy? My family and a friends family are coming up together.

There are multiple great places to stay around Mountain Home. And of course there are several resorts if one has a large group. The hotels we would suggest inside of Mountain Home are the Holiday Inn Express, Quality Inn, Days Inn, Hampton Inn and a few more likely. The resorts are numerous and we would use the Lake Norfork Chamber of Commerce for resort information as they have most of those as members.

If you don’t mind coming up 5-8 miles by boat, then the Quarry and Dam area have more options. The drive around is about 25 to 30 minutes by road. Plenty of options in the Twin Lakes area at that time.

Complications on scheduling include the 2024 Eclipse, as this is a prime viewing area and most facilities are sold out at that time and prices are a premium.

I booked a cabin at Crystal Cove Resort which is where I stayed last year. Owners are great, beds are comfortable and above all a safe area. It is a quick 5 min run down the lake to get to the launch site. Each cabin has a covered slip too. I do not know if there are any more openings though.

Take off/weigh in is out of Henderson but you can launch anywhere you please. Any of the closer ramps will have BCB reps there directing traffic and keeping things smooth.
