What is your preferred brand of pitching/flipping jigs?

I make pretty well all of mine but enjoy experimenting abd trying others occasionally. What are you using?

Just gonna throw my two sense in here. Take it for what it’s worth. I throw a swim a jig a ton. It’s my favorite bait. We have no grass here. Zero. It’s all wood, bushes, and such. So I tend to like a swim jig with not such a pointy head like the grass ones.

So for me, I try to pick a jig that I can swim, but also flip it right in a laydown if I want. Same rod, reel, etc. For me this is the best jig for that purpose. Got a good medium gauge hook suitable for floro, good weedguard, 90 degree line tie. Just a good jig I can do both with. It’s my pitching as well swim jig.

I really like the Keitech model I casting jigs and the Missile baits Ike mini flips. I used to make my own but couldn’t get the skits to flare the way those two brands do so I haven’t made my own in a couple years.

I make most of my own. 60 degree flat eye jig mold for flipping/pitching and a straight eye with a pointy head for a swim jig. For an all around store bought jig the SK structure jig does most things OK.

An original Stanley Jig. 7/16oz. I’m talking original from the late 80’s through the 90’s.

Don't throw a jig much here and I know I am missing bites as a result but when I do I use the Hackney Strike King jig. Following this as I need to improve on this technique.

We pour our own. 1/2 ounce for me. My son in law likes 3/8 ounce. I do still have a bunch of rattle back jigs that I started flipping with back in the day.
