You can take it to any authorized dealer to have them installed.

This (while certainly your call) is the very reason why "consumer completed" recalls don't make sense.

I didn't call or sue Mercury, someone must have to make it a Mandatory Safety Recall, Mercury sent me the letter.
The next owner will get the kit with complete instructions to do as they choose.

I don't go around picking up a soldering iron from the pointy side, I use the "handle", and I didn't need someone to tell me that.

Once you have received the letter from Mercury, you will be able to obtain the necessary components without having to drive 3 hours.

I believe I've answered this question for you in another format today.

ANY Mercury Dealer can perform this for you. You do not have to use the "selling" dealer.
