Depends on the time of year but lately it's been a SPRO Little John in Cellmate pattern or a Frittside 5 in Kentucky Blue. Almost always have a Rattletrap tied on & waiting on me.

With having 2 boxes full and a whole peg board with new in pack and opened hanging by hooks of bandit 200's, I'll have to say my confidence crank is a Bandit 200.

Pretty diverse responses that covers the whole spectrum. Sub $5 Bombers up to $25 balsas. Interesting. Kind of confirms the whole confidence angle.

Couple years ago the local tackle shop here, old timer owner, closed and he had a good supply of OLD Bandits and Bombers - I bought nearly everyone, maybe like 200 baits. And sold them!!!! At a good profit but what an idiot I was. Would love to find some of those of Bombers.

DT series for me most of the year. Early or late season wiggle wart or like style bait.

I also like the Rapala DT series. I’m really liking the newer DT 8. The 6 and 4 are solid for me as well. That DT 8 is a nice change up to the Wiggle Wart style bait for me

I'm not that good with crankbaits. If I just want to cast and wind, I use a Shad Rap in clear water, Bomber model A in Firetiger for stained. With those I can usually pick up 3 or 4 fish. I've had guys tell me they had a lot of sucess locally on this crankbait or that, I get me some, and get skunked with em.

I never backlash, but each time I go fishing I practice fixing them, just in case I ever do really backlash.
