I’ll preface this by saying I’m a Michigan Grad, but does anyone not believe Georgia is EXCEPTIONALLY deserving of their #1 ranking? Outside of Bama, I don’t see anyone keeping it close with them this year.

When Bowers is healthy they look good but they are not an unbeatable team this year. Kind of like BAMA. They are still good but they are not at the level they have been able to attain many years.

Buckeyes have a Very weak schedule. Don’t really see how they are ranked that high.

On the path to another National Championship; just wish they had a harder schedule so they would be more prepared for the big games. Beating teams like Tenn doesn't require a lot of effort.

Once again the SEC championship will have the best two teams in the nation playing for a championship except it will be for the Sec instead of national championship. Bama and Georgia have improved a lot during the season. Nobody wants to play either of them right now. Georgia made Missouri, Ole Miss and Tenn. look bad and they are pretty good teams.
Until you rank the teams along the Vegas lines you'll never have a real national championship playoff. There is simply too many people trying to put teams in the mix from different conferences and regions instead of putting the real best four teams in the playoffs. Even before the QB got hurt does anybody really believe Florida State is one of the best four teams in the nation. Washington? Who in their right minds would bet on Washington or Florida State in a matchup against Alabama. I'm not a Bama fan but they are better than most everybody ranked ahead of them besides Georgia.
Anybody who doesn't think so should wait and look at the final score of the Sec championship verses the national championship game.
