Ok so they didn’t vote it down but decided it wasn’t important?

The hours of daylight in the day doesn't depend on what time a clock shows. Its all about adjusting your schedule to benefit you the best.

So how can I adjust the hours my employer has 50k employees work? It's really simple for millions of people that don't work or have zero desire to be outside but for the rest of us having USABLE daylight is a big deal and there's zero adjustments to be made.

Meh. I’ve spent most of my life crossing time zones and date lines at all hours of the day. A one hour change at home in OK is a non-event. It’s 1700 somewhere, pass me a beer.

LOL, I used to collect wrist watches and wear a different one every day. I have 30 something now so I guess I will never know the correct time!

I don't care one way or another. BUT...If it was up to me, it would be daylight savings all the time. I like having an extra hour to get to the lake before dawn. I also take early pre-dawn walks around my neighborhood in the summer to beat the heat. I got to the lake yesterday around 8:00 and it looked like high noon.

Most of my clocks set themselves these days. I do have one "big number" digital clock that we keep under the TV. It has all kinds of functions that we don't use which makes it harder than Chinese arithmetic to figure out how to change the time. It's the first thing I think of when we have a power outage. I haven't re-set it yet...I'm using it as a mental exercise.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

    Bass.

Never liked standard time when I worked as it would be dark or near dark when I got home in the winter. Now that I'm retired I like it as it gets light earlier and I can avoid the morning traffic when going fishing. That being said, I wish they would just leave it on one of the other.

Hate that it gets dark at 5:00pm. Can’t get nothing done after work.

When we go back this spring leave it alone after that! They say its for the farmers. Every farmer we have around here have enough lights on their tractor tonight up ATT stadium.
