If you have a dremel or round file, you can use the led ones from etrailer. They are a lot
brighter and only take a minute or two to install. They are just slightly bigger and only took a couple hundredths of an inch to make fit.

These lights were smaller than my original frame (bezel) so I grinded it down 1/16 all around to make it fit the new led's.
I used my router by using it upside down which acted like a table. I used a 1/4 shank grinding bit and it worked great.
Connected the wires and works perfect.
