    We had the first color TV in our little town and had a bunch of neighbors that would come over every Sunday evening to watch, my mom would put out a spread and the neighbors would bring covered dishes. They only broadcast for a few hours each day.

    Yes to all things listed. Just maybe those were the good old days.

    Also bathed in the creek during the summer, as we didn't have indoor plumbing until later.

    The remote was me about 6 channel. Big screen about 24 ".
    Phone was a party line (wait your turn)
    Microwave a wood stove. until I was about twelve then we got a Propane stove

    Wow, I know I am not that much older than many of you. But....
    We didn't have a rotary phone, you picked up the phone to listen if someone was talking (8 party line) and waited for the Operator "Number Please".
    Black & White Tv had one channel.
