Pretty much any of the ankle high boots is probably what you are looking for... I have XtraTuf which is a pretty popular brand, but Huk, Grundens, Simms, Sketchers, Rocky plus a bunch of others all make them...

Tip, pick "ugly" colors for better prices :)

Look at some wading shoes. Academy, BPS, Cabela's, etc carry them. Very comfortable. Here's what I bought.

Worn out a few pairs. These are the best and most comfortable. Good for difficult launches where you have to get close/into the water. No problem running a trolling motor.

I bought the LL Bean snow sneakers. Awesome, insulated, waterproof, lightweight, and the sole is like wearing a house slipper. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/1259...0sneaker&pos=4

I’ve got a pair of Simms that are pretty nice but I much prefer my Xtratuff 12” boots. There’s a reason they are called the Alaskan sneaker. Totally waterproof like any rubber boot bot super comfortable.

I’ve got a pair that are stretchy rubber. They are great. Stretch them right over your shoes. They weigh next to nothing and take up hardly any space in my boat cabinets. They are very inexpensive, maybe 10-15for a pair and come in several colors. They have some traction on the sole. I don’t know the name of them but when I get home maybe I can find it.

+1 or X2 for Grundens. I just bought this pair per recommendation from BBC. Definately get a mid boot and not a shoe if you want your ankles to stay dry if you're caught running in rain These have got a great sole for on deck

Totes boot, wear them over your shoes. Have a pair for 20 years now and still going strong. Take them off and put them in your pocket.

Merrell hiking boots with Gore Tex as mentioned above. Took me a while to break mine in but they’re finally really comfortable and they are great for those cold and rainy days. Some reviews complained about them not being totally waterproof but mine have been 100% dry for more than two years.

This. Although lately Merell has been wreaking havoc on my knees. After a day of wearing them in the boat I have a hard time going up 4 steps to get in the house. I’m only 32 and have had bad knees since high school.
