    Your daughter did a whole lot of good working with other addicts. You may never know how many people’s lives she touched. Addiction is cunning,baffling and powerful. Draw upon the good memories and the power of her higher power to turn difficult times into realizations of gratitude if you can.

    I would just about bet this outcome was not in her plans but the stuff on the street nowadays is just so unpredictable.

    I have a friend in Kansas who has been struggling for 40 years with addictions. He has not had any quality of life for a long long time. It is really sad to know this about my old friend. It is said often that we have one more binge but we don’t know if we have one more recovery.

    I hope your days get better going forward.
