    126sv Wouldn't Power Down

When done fishing and heading back to the ramp, I went to power down the bow 126sv unit. No matter what I did (hold down or press power down) it would not power off. I had to kill the main power to turn it off.

    Any ideas?

If you push the power button and quickly let go, the pop up window is not coming up?

It does, and then I tap Power Off (or whatever the verbiage is) and it didn't work. So then I tried to hold the power button down and a "progress bar" appeared and advanced as I held the power button down to show it was about to turn off, but again, it never did. Tried both methods several times with no luck. That's when I just turned the main power to the unit off.

My bow chart unit 93SV did this intermittently. I may have been using it as the transducer source for another unit - at some point, I went through and cleaned up a bunch of settings, and haven't seen it since. Could be a coincidence

I think so. I don’t have access to my MFD but this is my Active Captain.
Does this reflect what is on the MFD’S or does it only exist in the cloud waiting to be installed? Memory is pretty sketchy but I think it has been a couple months since I installed an update.

For those with this issue, is the Echomap unit stand-alone, or is it networked with other Echomaps?

My 106 Ultra is networked to a 93 SV UHD. The 106 is hooked to the LiveScope module.

Normally, networked units should power up and down together. Does your 93 power down as expected? Also, at times it may take up to 10-12 seconds to power off after initiating the power down process.

Yes Sir, the 93SV powers down normally. I have tried turning it off first and last but the 106 would not shut off either way.
BTW; If it matters, They are on different power sources. The 93 is powered from the starting battery and the 106 and LiveScope from a 30AH Lithium.
If it quits raining I will try turning it off and on without the 93 hooked up to see if the Ethernet connection is somehow involved.
    Thanks for the help.

I use mine as a stand alone unit, only for the FFS. Software is up to date. I waited about 30 seconds for it to shut off after I noticed it was still on.

My 126 is stand alone and does this about one out of ten times, I just unscrew the power plug, If someone has a fix please post.
    I have the latest upgrade.

Update: I loaded the latest update to my units. I updated them from an SD card rather than Active Captain just to eliminate a variable.
I have only been out twice but so far they are powering down correctly. Need a little more time to be sure but it is promising.
