My side imaging on the left side has been dark with lines the last dozen or so times I've been out. It will work normal sporadically, but go right back to the dark with lines. And nothing is changing as far as trimming the motor or anything turning on or off, that could be causing like interference that I'm aware of. I've tried raising the trim and turning pumps on and off. Nothing i do changes what is going on. Ill post pic of screen shot in comments. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?

No im not. Its stowed when i took this picture
Have you tried checking the connection on your transducer cable to unit. Make sure the pins and socket are good and making good contact. Those cable collectors have been a pain ever since they started with them. Otherwise, the left side crystal may be damaged. Doesn't look like an interference issue from the boat.

Switch frequency off of mega. If it's good your transducer is intermittent. You didn't give your model #.
