Exclamation Trolling Motor mounting challenges? Too much "overhang"? Here's the solution!

Do you have a challenging trolling motor installation because of the design/layout of your boat's deck?

Are you looking for a simple way to PROTECT and keep your expensive trolling motor safe?!

Are you trying to avoid drilling SEVERAL new holes in the deck?

If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, our custom RETRACTABLE mounts can offer you a simple solution!

ShuttleSlide easily retracts your motor into the boat (you decide how much you need). Our mount can sit further back on the deck (making the installation easier) and when installing a 7" or 9" UHD or EXD mount, there are only 4 NEW holes in the deck (If you would like to re-use the existing holes in your deck, we can help with that too).

All of our retractable mounts have a lifetime warranty - proudly made in the USA! Veteran-owned business

If your trolling motor's OVERHANG is something you'd like to solve OR you simply can not mount your trolling motor close enough to the water line to safely deploy the shaft, think about ShuttleSlide's RETRACTABLE trolling motor mount with built in quick release. It's not just a regular trolling motor mount, it slides your motor inboard, past the rub rail & helps protect it from outside interference (bow rollers when loading/unloading, docks, other vessels, guide poles, obstacles in the water) and has a quick release function if you ever need to remove the motor off the boat.

What makes the ShuttleSlide mount stand out from the rest?

    1. Retracts your trolling motor 7" - 35" inboard from your deployed position. You can choose how much length you need for boat. It's NOT one-size-fits-all.
    2. The front of our mounts can be placed SEVERAL inches INSIDE the edge of the boat and we will make sure your shaft still clears the rub rail by 1" - 1.5".
    3. Lifetime Warranty - we stand behind our USA made products
    4. No metal to metal friction - Since our metal brackets do not slide along a metal track, it is smooth and quiet as it travels back and forth in the mount.
    5. Easy to use - no pins to pull or knobs to turn
    6. We have adapter plates that allow you to reuse your existing bolt hole pattern - no new holes in the deck.
    7. #1 customer service support - we will call you back, even after-hours and on weekends
    8. Our mounts can be used with ANY bow mounted trolling motor - up to 108" shaft length (scissor style mounts like the Force, Ultrex, Ghost will need our TMA-1 adapter).

Question about the HB Quest motors. HB has a new line of slide/quick detach mounts. They say to withstand the increased torc of their new brushless motors. Have you tested with those new motors? I would hate to have it break loose in 200’ of water. By the way does your warranty cover the loss of the new motor if it falls in? Bob

    Hello!

We test our mounts at forces well in excess of what motors you can buy today can produce. Also, for many years our mounts have been supporting the amount thrust and, even longer shaft lengths than what the new Quest motors are available in so compatibility is not a problem.

Our EXD line of mounts is what we currently recommend for 72 - 108" shaft motors with up to 120lbs of thrust and come with a Lifetime warranty on the mount. While other mounts have a sliding action/mechanism, none are designed to be used like ours is so we encourage people to look into that carefully.

If you have any questions at all, just give us a call!

    Thank you!
