Well that was worth the wait and every single penny! 6mph faster than a bravo 1 in the same pitch. Absolutely runs like a different boat.

Well that's good! I just looked at the Max5 ST and WOW those things are not cheap!
Good info for a future 300R purchase.

How was your hole shot with filled live wells? What was your top speed and how many RPMs? Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

The holeshot was better with the max5 30 gallons no water in the live wells. Max 5 was less sensitive to motor height and I could get it to launch and hook with all 5 holes plugged. It ran to 92.7 with a hesitation around 89.5. Had to tweak the plate and trim to get it climb past 90. 6350 rpms was the most i saw. Didn’t really get a chance to stare at the tach going that fast. I think i could run a 31 with just me in the boat and get a little more out of it. This will be my fishing prop most likely. I gonna run it again at the end of the week with another person with me now that I trust the prop.

Max5 can be raised higher. I run 1.5 above the pad but have heard others running higher.

I have a max5 32, if anyone would like to try it. I was running it on my 20xdc, have since bought a 21SDC (same engine 250R) and the 32 is too much on the 21'er with the 250R, but the 20xdc loved it. Was thinking a 30 might be what I need, so good to hear those results. (my 250R was flashed right before the crack down).
