    Update on E from J

    This is Jane of E+J. I know this is not a fishing report, but we wanted to thank all you guys for the many thoughts, kind words and prayers.
    Everett's surgery was a success, but some cancer still remains.
    Everett is doing well and starting to be able to eat a little better. Still losing a lot of weight. He's lost 30 pounds since May.
    We went to the oncologist's appointment Friday, and they told us he will have to be on chemo treatments for the next six months. Two different types of chemo. Once a week for three weeks and then one week off until January. His first chemo will start this Tuesday. Also, he will have to have radiation at some point. We are meeting with the radiologist tomorrow to find out more about that. It's a tough journey but we are trying to remain optimistic. He needs to get out and go fishing, and I need my fishing partner back. We will be back on the water before you know it!!!!

    Thanks for the update Jane! Keep Everett happy and with lots of positivity! No stress, it does bad things to us. I know he is strong enough to beat this and he has an amazing family by his side to cheer him on. Thinking of you both!

    Thanks GUYS + GALS I'm not doing too bad, just can't get weight back on and going with chemo .
    Chemo has not hampered me very much ,as of now? Hope to go fishing soon ......
