Wanting to take some people new to fishing down there for a better chance at 4+ bass for them. What area of the lake should i focus on? Never been. Anything helps, thanks

have you been there before? smaller lake can fish most of it in a day (long). was there about 3 weeks ago caught a few small fish and one good one. pretty much near drop offs
No never been, just heard it puts out bigger fish on average.
the one good one weight 6.5 pounds. just be warned not a lake you can run on pad on without risk of damage to motor/boat. lots of stumps. typical summer bass fishing pattern. good luck have fun.
go to the creek channel on the southwest side of the lake and throw 10-inch worms near the ledges. or run crankbaits. I've had pretty good luck doing that. depending on where you live Ohkema is also a great lake with lots of grass and rip rap and has good fish in it.
okmulgee is a good lake just have to deal with pleasure boats.
I just want to add to watch out for those pigmy rattlers. They're small and they will bite you for thinking about them. They like to hang out around the reeds.
Need a new bow step pad for your boat? Do what I did!

You can catch more fish over 4 lbs on Grand right now.
Small lake wise I would go to okemah before I went to drip…. Wetumka had numbers and some good ones. Numbers in the grass, big fish off shore on any of your choices.
