On my 93 Mercury 200 EFI, it runs great but the
”pee water” is so hot I can’t hold my hand under it.
is that a sine of needing a new water pump?

The pee stream comes from the thermostats, which open at 143 degrees, so that would be scalding hot, it’s normal and don’t do it.

I don’t know, I just bought the motor.
why?
IT’s recommended to service the pump once a year or every 100 hours, which ever comes first. If you don’t know when the pump was last serviced you probably think of having it done for safety sake.
