    Bravo I .. choosing pitch

    I had a Bravo XS 26p.
    2022 Merc 4 Stroke 250.
BassCat Puma STS (4 lithium batteries, power poles, pretty well loaded down kind of heavy).

I was only able to hit 5850 rpm, regardless of plugs, motor height, etc.

Hole shot and general performance was better than my Fury 3 24 (I can hit 6100 rpm with it).

I want to try a lower pitch Bravo.

These suckers aren't cheap, and I would appreciate any input. Should I drop to the 25? I was originally leaning towards the 25.5, but I'm worried that may not be enough difference from the 26.

Yes, I would try a 25 pitch. But, just know, the 25 is actually a 24 pitch propeller with extra cup in the tips of the blades making it act like a 25 pitch. It should lift the bow better than what you are seeing now
