Interesting. I'm a sucker for glide baits so might have to give one a try

I saw that earlier but couldn’t find anymore info on it. Looks like a nice glide bait.

Literally all Berkley has become is a knock off company anymore. It's pitiful.

A better mouse trap is a better mouse trap. They improved on the Magdraft with the hook keeper and it looks like they did the same with this one. I’m fine with it. Every brand has a senko knock off too and nobody complains about that.

It may be a knockoff, but if Berkeley brings it out at a decent price range they'll sell.
I've looked at the flags. It also got my attention but I'm not paying 45 and 99 dollars for a soft bait that a big smallmouth or striper will destroy.
I'd rather put that to a hard glide that'll last for years barring breaking it off or bashing it on a rock.

That’s right. It may be a knock off, but if they can make it better at a cheaper price I’m all about it.

And they are sold out. Gives Berkley some room to sell their version.

That’s their bread and butter, take a proven design and market it at a more attainable price. Look at the gilly, the bait it was based on is almost impossible to get, much less at a reasonable price. Now I don’t have to search the Japanese sites hoping to find one that has them in stock. They’re staying out of the original companies market by catering to a lower price point buyer. The guys who would spend the bucks to buy the Japanese original will probably still buy the original. The guys that will buy the Berkeley knockoff probably would never spend the bucks for the Japanese bait. Now if they would just start selling some of their JDM products over here.
