Have not been a fan of LIV golf from the start. I’m guessing Monahan just got “Greg Norman money” to approve the merger. I have been a huge PGA fan for years, but I guess the PGA is on the same level as Bud Light for me. I’m done with them.

Hate to (sorta) bring politics into it, but Trump somehow called it.

First there was BASS. Then FLW came along. Then MLF and NPFL.

The real issue is too many guys with money who want to act like a pro. It's easy for any start up league to fill a field of less than stellar anglers who want to act pro. FLW was just like that when it launched.
That’s the reality of the Professional Tournament Fishing and not one of them claims to be a Non Profit

Better not look up where the phone or computer parts you are posting on are made and by what Labor Force.. Sadly it is the world today.

Best part in The Donald predicted this a year ago. The guys that turned down the Big Money are out in the cold. Phil, Bubba, and others got there Millions and now can come back home.

IMO...This is a bad deal for most LIV players, bottom 2/3. Their slush fund is now being used to fund Newco, with JM as commissioner. Their security blanket, Greg Norman, is out. There will be a world tour, they may not qualify for, and Rory, Rham, Scottie, etc. will start eating at their pie.

Regardless, with the PIF investing BILLIONS (the PIF Gov. words), the best players are getting even more money.

Some are butt hurt today, but that feeling will soon go away. Competitors merge everyday.

I have a sneaking suspicion then never comes to fruition. Also, Jay will be unemployed soon.

I'd take that bet. JM just friended one of the richest asset manages in the world. Did you miss the part where the PIF Gov. said they have been playing golf together. It's PIF's money funding Newco. Jay will be just fine, actually either way

PIF pushed PGAT into a financial pickle, and then bailed them out. Century old biz strategy.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Tiger calls it a career.

Him retiring wouldn't cost him hardly anything. He may actually increase his income.

In my opinion - Selective Outrage at it's best. Not thrilled about it myself but as in everything else Money is the main deciding factor and nothing else!

I want to buy a Made in America iPhone! Wait I don't want to pay $5,000.00 for a phone. Come on China keep cranking them out. Thanks!
