My 2016 Z520C ran best with the 250SHO with a 25 Fury 3 blade with all holes plugged better than the 25 t1 it came with. Ran 74. Whatever you do do not run a fury 4 blade. You will sling an ear.

Repowered my 09, z 520 ( with a Gorilla Hull) with a 250 4s Merc Proxs with a 23 p fury 3 blade, same 10" and it is a totally different boat now. Great hole shot. 70 mph + with a heavy load, full fuel tanks, plenty of bow lift. No experience with the SHO.

I have the gorilla hull also. Boat had yamaha hpdi so i went back with yamaha so didn't have to buy all new controlls. Could run 70 with light load. Hoping to pick up a little.
