On my carbons the trolling tab will pop up and say in standby. I can go to the actual autopilot page and anchor works, just the window side tab "Trolling" quick tab doesn't work.

First do you have a Ghost TM on your Boat??? or any autopilot on board? If not then go to advanced settings and turn off Autopilot then no menu will pop up.
Yes have ghost and it worked as it should. I've tried soft and hard resets also turn it off and on. Worked on old software

There are 3 switchs to turn on for autopilot if you have 2 out of 3 then what you describe happens make sure all 3 in a row are turned on. It always helps when we have the whole story on equipment otherwise anyone that ownes a Lowrance will be guessing. Since you already did the soft and hard resets time to call Lowrance. What you describe is VERY unusual and have not heard of this before. Have you tried controling your ghost from another unit and does it act the same way?
There is a glitch in the new update.
It's in software. My ghost using the actual auto pilot works as it should just the side panel quick tab will open but shows unit is in standby not as it should, I use the features all the time, for routes and pre set tracks to fish, its working but can't use the side tab "trolling" quick tab.

Cheek in the ADVANCED SETTINGS and see if the Ghost tab is on.
There was a bug in the 23.1 update to 23.3 from June and that fixed the Ghost autopilot control.
