Carbon update then unit shut off on its own and won’t turn on
Was out on the lake today in a tourney and all of a sudden my Carbon 12 just shut off on its own. And I can’t get the unit to power back up. I’ve switched power cables and units and every one works fine besides the dead Carbon. Has anyone ever ran into this problem? The unit it’s past its warranty period too. Any tips or tricks to help me revive this unit would be greatly appreciated. Everything worked perfectly until I did the update last night.

If you switched cables and it still does not work then its the unit DOA. You can call Lowrance they will most likely give you a deal on a new unit as part of the support after warranty. There might be some on in the US that would repair it possibly.

It’s just odd that right after I updated the unit to the latest software it died. And reading reviews and threads this last update has been a doozy for people.

Since it does not power on not a lot you can do, Call Lowrance and explain it happened after update. Good Luck
