Lithium Trolling Motor Battery Tray placement

I am swapping out agm’s for lithiums.

The new tray is substantially smaller, any advice on where to place it? Any reason not to put it in the middle of the passenger side battery compartment?

I just replaced 2 G31 LA with 60 AH lithium's with new trays. I just centered them where the old trays were. They are on the port side with PP pumps and a G31 AGM cranking on the starboard side.

I could have placed them elsewhere to give me more space in the bilge, but there is still room to add a few more if needed and I can't think of anything else I would would ever put in the bilge.
