If I'm almost done I'll kick it into high gear and try to finish if it starts raining as long as no lightning or downpour. I have no problem cutting grass in the morning when it's still wet from dew because I'm on 2 acres out in the country. My nearly entry level Cub Cadet doesn't care either way and neither do I. Beats waiting until the heat of the day. If I lived in town and had a small yard that could be knocked out fast with a push mower things would be different.

I'm lucky if I mow it dry, let alone wet 😂

I try to mow a day or two before it rains, but never during or even a day after, not good for the lawn.

There is only one thing you cut when wet. Grass isn’t it.

No way! I just hop on the motorcycle, drive to the lake, fish and if it’s still raining and lightning crashing when finished, stop by the course and get in a quick round while no one is out!

Not during a rain but after a rain on the riding mower. If it rains late afternoon or night, mow mid morning the next day. If it rains in the morning, mow afternoon. My yard and places I mow are hard ground so no worries about ruts. Mowing damp cuts out all the dust, I don't have to wear a mask and my sinuses are clear afterwards. The exception is the centipede around the pool. I cut and bag it with a self propelled, so it has to be dry when cut.

Only to finish if almost done and only if it is not raining buckets or storming.
