    Texoma

Wife and I will be going there in a couple of weeks and have never been on the lake. Will be staying close to the 377 bridge and looking for what to expect. Will be after blackbass, smallmouth, and possibly striper and am looking for info on all three. Thanks in advance.

when it floods, there is a good Bermuda bite. Other than that, no grass….well……..unless you go to the islands and it’s usually smoked.

Sounds like the islands might be a spot I need to go to without the wife.

I've been on the lake once since moving here in 2022. Coming from West Ga where I fished mostly Alabama waters with grass, I was a lost soul out on Texoma. I need to start coming to that lake more often...beautiful body of water.
Just be kind to one another. It really is that simple.

Looks like I'm not going to catch much with all the "positive" responses I am getting.

Lake has a ton of fish and plenty of bass(LM, SM and spotted) to catch. It’s been fishing really good this year. Sending a PM

Texoma is an old and wide open lake. Get out at dawn and fish top water along the rocky banks. Can catch bass, striper and smallmouth. Texas rig later in the day. Crank baits in marina or around boathouses.

for striper, fish top water early along points. Then silver jigs. To find the fish, go where the guides are. Or follow the birds.

I have found fishing to slow significantly after about 11:00 am, so go early.
